Clos la Niverdi\u00e8re<\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/header>

La Niverdi\u00e8re is a group of 7.5 hectares of different terroirs in the Chinon AOC, currently being converted to organic farming.<\/p>\n

4ha50 of cabernet franc are located in the communes of Cravant les Coteaux, Chinon, 3ha within the Clos \u00abLa Niverdi\u00e8re\u00bb in Beaumont en V\u00e9ron.<\/p>\n

The vineyards of Cravant les Coteaux are planted on 2 types of soil:
\n\u2022 The \u00abSablons de la Vienne\u00bb; the famous mixed gravels and sands of the \u00abGranges\u00bb and the \u00abMaisons Bourdeaux\u00bb
\n\u2022 The lower slopes, clay-limestone at the place called "Rustauderies" on the heights of Cravant<\/p>\n

The vineyards of Chinon and Beaumont-en-V\u00e9ron are located on the same type of soil known as "Terres douces", a mixture of calcareous sands and calcareous colluvium.<\/p>\n
